Mr. Metzinger has extensive experience in the fields of

- Social Security
- Personal Injury and related civil issues.
In his years in the courtroom, Mr. Metzinger has argued cases before the Administrative Courts of California, the Social Security Administration, the California Superior Courts, the California Court of Appeals, the California Supreme Court, and in the federal courts.
The first attorney to successfully represent and win benefits for a lyme disease exposure case and to prove an industrial connection in latex allergy and fibromyalgia cases, Mr. Metzinger has been breaking ground in the field of law for 37 years, and continues to represent individuals whose cases pose a challenge to the system.
Mr. Metzinger spent two years studying at the National University in Mexico City, is fluent in Spanish, and has fought and won help for numerous native Spanish speakers who would have been unable to obtain the help they deserved on their own.
Mr. Metzinger graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1969 with a degree in History and received his Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego in 1971.
